CIGMA é um projeto de música eletrónica que combina as suas experiências e influências individuais para criar uma experiência única que integra música, vídeo, luzes e efeitos visuais.
Em 2023, atuaram em eventos de grande destaque como a Semana Académica da UTAD, o RFM SOMNII e o Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Lançaram várias faixas de sucesso, incluindo a colaboração com o DJ/produtor Pedro Cazanova em “Alma”, que atingiu o 1.º lugar no top POP do iTunes Portugal. A nível internacional, foram reconhecidos pelo duo Dada Life, que tocou no seu radioshow o bootleg “SACRIFICE (PEDRO CARRILHO & CIGMA VIP EDIT)” — colaboração com o DJ/produtor Pedro Carrilho. Atingiram também o seu primeiro chart no Beatport com a faixa “Easy To Love”, que entrou no Top 100 Mainstage.
Participaram no álbum RAVOLUTION Vol.1 ADE Edition da editora Rave Nation Recordings, com a faixa “Alicia”. O álbum celebrou o ADE e incluiu artistas como &LEZ, Stevie Krash e Mayze x Faria. “Alicia” foi adicionada à playlist “Tech House Anthems” da Hexagon, editora do DJ/produtor internacional Don Diablo (atualmente em #15 no Top 100 da DJ Mag), e à playlist da Rádio Comercial Dance.
Em 2024, lançaram várias faixas de destaque:
• “Love is Killing Me”, com o DJ/produtor japonês NORII, pela editora Den Haku Records (de Nealeck, #87 na DJ Mag 2024), contou com o suporte de R3HAB, que a tocou no seu CYB3RPVNK Radio.
• “Piano Rave”, lançada pela editora HΞXHIBITION do mundialmente conhecido Don Diablo (#15 DJ Mag), recebeu suporte direto do próprio artista.
• “The Backseat”, em colaboração com o DJ/produtor Iva Lake, teve destaque na Spinnin’ Sessions Guest Mix pelos Bingo Players e recebeu suporte da DJ internacional Juicy M.
A presença em palco também se expandiu, com destaque para a estreia no Festival Sudoeste em 2024, na receção ao campista.
Graças a esses lançamentos e apoios, entraram em diversos charts e playlists: o Top Newcomer da 1001Tracklists, rádios como Kiss FM Ukraine, Radio Zet, Mega Hits, Radio Comercial, RFM, Power Hit Radio, e o Top 100 Dance/Electro Pop do Beatport. O número de ouvintes mensais no Spotify duplicou, passando de 40 mil para mais de 100 mil nos primeiros meses do ano.
Em 2025, os CIGMA já contam com três lançamentos, um dos quais recebeu suporte de váris artistas, e do duo Swanky Tunes. Neste ano, voltaram a pisar o palco do Festival RFM SOMNII, integrando um cartaz de peso ao lado de nomes como Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, Alok, DubVision, Dubdogz, entre outros.

That year, they released several successful tracks, including a collaboration with DJ/producer Pedro Cazanova titled “Alma”, which reached #1 on the Portuguese iTunes POP chart. International recognition came when the duo Dada Life played their bootleg “SACRIFICE (PEDRO CARRILHO & CIGMA VIP EDIT)” — a collaboration with DJ/producer Pedro Carrilho — on their radioshow. They also achieved their first Beatport chart entry with the track “Easy To Love”, which entered the Top 100 Mainstage.
They were featured on the RAVOLUTION Vol.1 ADE Edition compilation by Rave Nation Recordings, with the track “Alicia”. The album, celebrating ADE, included artists such as &LEZ, Stevie Krash, and Mayze x Faria. “Alicia” was added to the “Tech House Anthems” playlist by Hexagon, the label of international DJ/producer Don Diablo (currently ranked #15 in the DJ Mag Top 100), as well as Rádio Comercial Dance’s playlist.

“Love is Killing Me”, in collaboration with Japanese DJ/producer NORII, was released on Den Haku Records (run by Nealeck, ranked #87 in DJ Mag 2024) and received support from R3HAB, who featured it on his CYB3RPVNK Radio show.
“Piano Rave”, released via HΞXHIBITION, the label of global star Don Diablo (#15 DJ Mag), received direct support from Don himself.
“The Backseat”, in collaboration with DJ/producer Iva Lake, was featured in the Spinnin’ Sessions Guest Mix by Bingo Players, and also received support from international DJ Juicy M.
Their stage presence also grew, with a highlight being their debut at MEO Sudoeste Festival in 2024, performing at the campers’ welcome event.
Thanks to these releases and growing support, they entered several important charts and playlists: the Top Newcomer Chart on 1001Tracklists, radio playlists on Kiss FM Ukraine, Radio Zet, Mega Hits, Rádio Comercial, RFM, Power Hit Radio, and the Beatport Top 100 Dance/Electro Pop. Their monthly Spotify listeners doubled, growing from 40,000 to over 100,000 in the first months of the year.
