DJ Francis Preto é um DJ angolano residente em Portugal, reconhecido pela sua identidade musical que une Deep House, Deep Tribal House, Afro House, Amapiano e Gqom. Inspirado por artistas como Black Coffee, Shimza e Danni Gato, destaca-se pela pesquisa musical constante, pela mistura elegante de sonoridades africanas com House e pela criação de experiências únicas.

Criador das festas AfroGroove e Amafro, consolidou rapidamente o seu nome em Braga através da organização de eventos diferenciadores. O seu lema traduz a essência do seu trabalho: “Não toco música, crio momentos.”

DJ Francis Preto is an Angolan DJ currently based in Portugal. His passion for music began at the age of 15, inspired by his older brother. Since then, he has built a distinctive musical identity through continuous research, authenticity and a unique approach to electronic music.

His sound blends Deep House, Deep Tribal House, Afro House, Amapiano and Gqom, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Black Coffee, Shimza and Danni Gato. Rather than simply following trends, he focuses on creating dynamic and immersive musical journeys, carefully selecting tracks that deliver emotion and connect with every audience.

Alongside performances at private events such as birthdays, christenings and welcome drinks, DJ Francis Preto has also established himself as an event promoter. He is the creator of AfroGroove, introducing Braga to an innovative event featuring live saxophone performances, and Amafro, a concept dedicated to Amapiano, Afrotech and contemporary African sounds. In less than a year, he successfully built a respected name in a highly competitive Afro music scene by creating his own brand and event platform.

A self-taught artist with an endless passion for discovering new music, he is currently preparing the release of his first original productions. His artistic philosophy is perfectly represented by his signature statement:
